"Desire, Motivation, Sweat, Reward!"

Every client is assigned a personal fitness trainer to develop a fitness regimen unique to their own individual needs. This one-on-one training has produced an extremely satisfied clientele - we know this since the majority of our new clients are referrals from existing clients. In addition, our personal trainers stay up-to-date on the very latest in training routines and techniques. Our trainers regularly attend fitness seminars and are included in all Premier Therapy in-service discussions regarding new exercises for chronic injuries. This enhances their knowledge of post-injury and post-surgical exercise techniques that can be incorporated into the personal training environment after all physical therapy sessions have been completed. Our trainers receive guidelines from referring physicians as well as physical therapists regarding the specific exercises needed to help their client achieve their fitness goals. All of this combines to provide our clients with an upbeat, positively charged environment that is well-suited for healing and fitness. But you don’t have to take our word for it.
Functional Training
Functional Training or Performance Enhancement Training is a classification of exercise that involves using one’s own body-weight to perform specific movements that target the core muscles of the abdomen and lower back, while training the body for the activities that are very similar to those performed in daily life. Work out privately with our trainers or share the hour with a friend. We guarantee that this is unlike any other fitness routine that you have performed! So get ready to be challenged!
Our Performance Enhancement Specialist Shelly Gardynick, M.A., A.C.S.M. Certified Exercise Specialist, trains one-on-one to help "move" your body through functional exercises.

Group Training
Early on, we noticed that not all of our clients were interested in working with our trainers one-on-one. These people prefer the camaraderie and familiarity of working out with their spouse, family members, co-workers, or friends. That’s why we decided to offer Group Training sessions. Bring yourself and up to three other individuals and we will assign a trainer to your group. Your trainer will facilitate a group work out that will accomplish the objectives of every member - while saving everyone the expense of one-on-one training!
Hockey Conditioning Program
Hockey is one of the most physically intense and demanding of all full contact sports. Although the organized hockey season only lasts a few months out of the year, our hockey conditioning program offers strength and endurance training year round. This supplemental training will help your team play at their best year round and get that extra game-winning edge. The goal of this clinic is to educate and instill the need for continued physical conditioning, stretching, and the use of proper techniques and volumes of exercise. Even after the clinic is over, the lessons learned will carry over into a healthy lifestyle during and after hockey season.
The clinic is coached by Anthony Citraro, B.S., C.S.C.S. who will to educate, demonstrate, and motivate the athletes. The clinic will be held on Saturday afternoons for 1 ½ - 2 hours. To create a seamless training environment and provide additional supervision, the team's coaches will be invited to participate in the clinics. The clinics will progress from taking basic initial measurements on player flexibility, upper body strength, power, torso endurance to strength drills and finally machine/barbell circuit training. By the end of the clinic, the participants will have gained knowledge on proper exercise technique, multiple exercise routines, basic physiology, and concepts in physical conditioning.
